The Maenporth Estate offered us the perfect holiday experience and one that was much needed during this year of the pandemic. With other family members staying next door at No. 65 it was the ideal way of bringing us all together, whilst keeping us apart! As soon as we walked through the door we felt instantly relaxed and at home. The house was beautifully presented and spacious and having two bathrooms and a downstairs cloakroom was a definite plus. We all agreed the position was brilliant. Just a few steps from the front door was a picturesque sea view and within ten minutes we could descend the path and be laying out towels on the beach. Each house, with its own patio and entertaining area, shared the well maintained communal garden. Due to the staggered layout of the other Lower Maen Cottages, it felt like a private garden for just our two houses. French doors onto the patios enabled us to get together, without using the front doors. We had a wonderful time playing tennis on the courts and, at just 8 weeks old, our granddaughter had her first dip in the pool. The temperature was perfect and she was in no hurry to get out! The staggered times and booking systems in place, due to Covid-19 restrictions worked well and we felt very safe. We can highly recommend this lovely holiday home.
90 privately owned holiday homes set in 29 acres of mature gardens and woodland, many with superb coastal views. Enjoyed by visitors from around the world. Maenporth – the perfect place for a holiday.
