We stayed at 11 The Ridges for the first time this August. The pre-arrival information was invaluable. On arrival we were greeted by a welcome pack of goodies from the local area including fresh bread and coffee. This was a lovely touch. The property had everything you could possibly need including a washing machine, clothes airer, plenty of space to relax, well stocked box of buckets and spades for the beach (we didn’t know this so brought our own). The view from the upper and lower balconies over the beach at Maenporth were stunning, we really enjoyed having coffee looking out of the sea. The beach was great, with just a short walk down the sloping drive to the beach. The pool was lovely. The property is perfectly situated for the Cove restaurant – lots of lovely National Trust properties and also the Kernow water-sports activity centre which is great fun. We would definitely like to come back but can see that it’s already booked up for next August, which is a great sign of its popularity! Thanks again for a lovely holiday.
