Maenporth delivered the hottest May temperatures in the last 100 years! Brilliant for a beach holiday! 47 Upper Stables is a great property, it’s well maintained (not an easy thing to do for holiday guests!) and a big and generous bonus is the owners allowing use of the little store and use of the beach items in there, we really like that! On arrival the little gift of essential foods is such a nice touch.
This was the first year we accessed the on-site EV charging too, very easy to use once set up. The house is comfortable, good linen and beds are great, we haven’t yet gone out for food so the well-equipped kitchen allows to cater without compromise. I was so excited when I came across the retro/old school hand whisk, sad I know but loved that! I want one at home again now! As the saying goes; The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and the proof is advance booking for the future. We love it. Above all, the brilliant crew who greet you and are always on hand day to day really make it, I cannot remember everyone but we’re getting to know you all. So, thank you Grace, Jordon, Fraser and Chloe, and no less thanks to those who I have yet to learn your names. Facilities are plentiful and well looked after and because of the utterly fantastic weather we enjoyed over half term this year we made use of the beautiful BBQ area twice, it would have been more if the boys had their way. We hated leaving and are counting the weeks until next year.
