We stayed at 11 The Ridges on the Maenporth Estate at the beginning of November 2020. i.e. during the pandemic and just before the 2nd lockdown. We enjoyed our stay and liked the accommodation. It is very light and spacious with a lovely view across the bay. Most days we could see surfers in close and boats out at sea. Of course, you pay for the view with a steep walk uphill from the beach but it’s not actually as bad as it looks. The accommodation was well equipped, with all the kitchen utensils you could need and loads of glasses and mugs. It was very clean. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were great and the little interaction we had with the staff was also great – they were polite and helpful every time. We left early due to the 2nd lockdown and got a rebate without asking which I thought was pretty good. The Cove restaurant downstairs is really good as was the Ferryboat Inn and Hooked on the rocks which are very close. All in all, happy to recommend the accommodation and the company.
