It’s a great little apartment and was perfect for us being a family of 4. The beds were extremely comfy, and it was brilliant to have the 2 bathrooms. The apartment is decorated beautifully, a seaside theme throughout makes it very modern and gives the feeling of being very much by the sea to go with the stunning views of Maenporth beach below. The mirrors are definitely well placed in the apartment and made it feel so much more airy and light! We didn’t use the patio at the back of the property, as the weather was so good for us during our stay that we were out on the beaches all of the days! But good to know it was there to catch the sun at different times of the day if needed. The balcony was just perfect for sitting out on to have breakfast or an early evening drink looking out to sea! The owners have definitely thought of everything and made absolute use of all the space, creating lots of storage cupboards etc and hooks which were extremely helpful so we could put our things away. Often smaller apartments have no storage space and then you end up with all your things taking over the lounge space. A genius idea in putting in the freezer and washing machine under cupboards. The record player is a great touch and a lovely addition which we used on quite a few occasions – the owners clearly must love the 80’s/90’s as much as we do so that was lovely to put on a vinyl – took my husband and I back to our childhoods! We have stayed in a few different apartments/cottages over the years and would definitely book No 1 The Ridges again. We had a truly wonderful stay, and the apartment was perfect! We do love coming to Maenporth Estate, have done for many years and I know we will be back again!
