We stayed in 60 Monterey Cottages for week in September. Our plan was to use this as a base as we wanted to explore the many interesting sites around Falmouth and the southern part of Cornwall. The property was ideally located and we achieved our plan. Also having a beach literally a stone’s throw away was an additional bonus. We visited the beach a few times during the week. The three bedroom unit was perfect for us. We found the unit to be spotlessly clean and well-furnished (as if brand new) with everything we needed for the week and would easily house a group of six. We were pleasantly surprised at the little extras that were available, for example from the extra TVs, DVD player, in the third bedroom there was a bookcase with many books to help get through those miserable rainy days. Also it is obvious that someone had thought about those little things one needs while away, for example there was an iPhone charger in the lounge and a toothbrush charger in the main bedroom. These are not critical things but it is great to see that someone has thought of these little extras. As a result of the great facilities we are talking about another visit to Cornwall in 2021.
