Finders Cottage is a semi-detached, reverse-level property tucked away in a quiet corner on the edge of the beautiful gardens at Maenporth Estate, backing onto a tree-enclosed lawn with soothing views across the grass to the sheltering trees beyond. Beautifully refurbished, comfortably furnished and exceptionally well equipped, this charming home provides everything you need to make the most of your Cornish holiday.
Our holiday homes are independently assessed every year. We market 3* or higher accommodation and actively encourage continuous improvement.
Guests are asked to complete a property review shortly after they have finished their holiday. A review form is also available at reception and can be completed prior to departure.

The bright conservatory is furnished with a granite dining table and chairs and opens onto a private patio and large lawned area beyond. Outside there is a comfortable garden sofa plus a wooden patio table and chairs – perfect for enjoying meals outdoors or watching the sunset over the trees.
Stairs lead down from the entrance hallway to the welcoming open-plan living area, where a pair of comfortable sofas create a relaxed sitting space overlooking the conservatory and garden area beyond. A Smart TV provides access to Netflix, Freeview, YouTube and iPlayer, and there is free Wi-Fi throughout. A DVD player is also provided with Bluetooth speaker, stereo and Nintendo Wii console with a variety of games. The space is bright and airy, with modern décor and thoughtful touches that make it easy to unwind and feel at home.
Adjacent to the sitting area, the fully equipped kitchen has everything required for easy holiday catering, including an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer and dishwasher. The granite worktops and light modern finish make this a delightful and practical space for cooking.
The conservatory extends the living area beautifully, offering a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening drinks. Patio doors open directly onto the terrace, where guests can enjoy the fresh sea air and views of the surrounding gardens.
Both bedrooms are comfortably furnished with quality linens and a calm, restful feel. The downstairs WC and separate shower room are bright and modern, with a heated towel rail.
Guests at Maenporth Estate have full use of the excellent on-site leisure facilities, all just a short stroll away.
A picturesque woodland path leads directly down to Maenporth Beach, a beautiful, sheltered sandy cove ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and coastal walks. The South West Coast Path also runs close by, offering miles of stunning scenery and spectacular sea views.
The bustling harbour town of Falmouth is just a short drive away, with its rich maritime history, independent shops, and excellent choice of restaurants and cafés. Whether you’re visiting for a relaxing break or an active coastal adventure, Finders Cottage is a wonderful year-round base for exploring Cornwall.

Regrettably, pets are not permitted at this property or on the Maenporth Estate. However, the Owners of the property are permitted to bring dogs.
