This welcoming and nicely presented cottage offers flexible accommodation, perfect for families or two couples sharing. Set in the centre of the landscaped grounds of Maenporth Estate, everything is on hand with the Leisure Centre, BBQ area, tennis courts and children’s play area in one direction and the sandy beach and scenic coastal footpaths at Maenporth Cove in the other.
Our holiday homes are independently assessed every year. We market 3* or higher accommodation and actively encourage continuous improvement.
Guests are asked to complete a property review shortly after they have finished their holiday. A review form is also available at reception and can be completed prior to departure. All guest comments are sent to an independent assessor and your views are also passed on to the owner.
There is parking right outside 70 Maen Barn, just steps away from the front door. Off the entrance hall is a useful ground floor shower room, great for washing off sandy children after a day on the beach. The open plan living room has a TV and DVD player, two comfortable sofas and patio doors out to a private sitting area. The dining area is next to the kitchen, which is well set out with integrated appliances, plenty of storage and a full inventory of kitchen equipment.
Upstairs, bedroom 1 has the luxury of a super king size bed and bedroom 2 has a double bed and a single, offering added flexibility for larger families. The family bathroom has a bath with fitted shower above. Decorated with cream and warm tonal colours throughout, it feels cosy and welcoming whatever the weather. There is electric heating throughout the property with storage heaters downstairs and wall heaters in the bedrooms. The bathroom and shower room both have heated towel rails.
Outside, there is a table and chairs on the patio so you can eat outside in mild weather, and landscaped grounds all around.
Regrettably, guests are not permitted to bring dogs or pets of any kind. However, owners are allowed to do so.
