This delightfully comfortable holiday home, recently updated and decorated throughout in marine blues and creams, offers perfect family accommodation. There are views over landscaped grounds to the sea beyond, with sandy Maenporth Cove a few minutes’ walk down the hill. The Leisure Centre, BBQ area, tennis/pickleball courts and children’s play area are just a stroll away, easily accessible for all ages.

Quality Standard

Our holiday homes are independently assessed every year. We market 3* or higher accommodation and actively encourage continuous improvement.

Guests are asked to complete a property review shortly after they have finished their holiday. A review form is also available at reception and can be completed prior to departure. All guest comments are sent to an independent assessor and your views are also passed on to the owner.

Additional Information

45 Upper Stables has parking close to the cottage, and on entering there is space in the hallway for coats and shoes. There is a ground floor shower room which is great for washing off when coming back from the beach. The open plan living room has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to a private patio surrounded by landscaped grounds. BT Infinity high speed broadband is provided free of charge, so everyone can get online as and when required. There is a Smart TV and plenty of books, DVDs and games for guests to use.

There are two comfortable sofas in the sitting area, and the dining area has an extendable table to easily seat six. The kitchen is well planned with fully integrated appliances, plenty of storage, and a comprehensive inventory to make holiday catering a delight.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double bed with access to a TV, bedroom 2 has twin beds and bedroom 3 has full size bunk beds – although this is a compact room, it’s probably best for children. The family bathroom has a bath with a fitted shower above.

There is electric heating and heated towel rails in the bathroom and shower room, so you’ll be warm and toasty at any time of year.

Outside, the patio has a table and chairs for six – (with cushions stored inside to keep them dry) – a great place for sunny lunches and evening drinks at the end of busy days.

Regrettably, guests are not permitted to bring dogs or pets of any kind to the property or site. However, owners are allowed to do so.

A cot and a highchair are both available in this property. The highchair provided does not come with an attached harness. Please note a mattress and bed linen are not provided for the travel cot.

Our family had a lovely stay at 45 Upper Stables in October. The house is well appointed and situated really conveniently for the swimming pool complex, tennis courts and play area. It has a lovely view down the valley towards Maenporth beach. The Cove restaurant is just at the bottom of the hill, ideal for breakfast, lunch or an early dinner with the kids. It is also just a short drive to Trebah Gardens and Falmouth.

Our visit to Maenporth Estate in March was fantastic. It was very easy to find, check in was a breeze and the property was everything a family could need for a great stay. The location is perfect - Five minute drive to town with all its shops and a few minutes walk to a wonderful beach. The facilities in our lodge were just what we wanted and we couldn’t think of anything else we would need. The on-site pool and other facilities were spot on. Would highly recommend this holiday destination to anyone.
