With the beach in walking distance from all properties, you’re never too far from the crash of a wave or glisten of Summer sunshine on the sand. Head on over to the beach café for a treat, or if you are more adventurous, take the paddle boards out to sea and paddle between the coves of Swanpool and Gyllyngvase or Bream Cove and Durgan towards the Helford around Rosemullion Head. Coastline to the East and West offer protection from the wind and waves making Maenporth a great place to paddle, swim and enjoy the water safely.

Whether you are a keen morning swimmer, or just want a bit of holiday fun, our heated indoor pool will bring that holiday luxury you want. Being one of the largest private pools in Cornwall at 15m, you will feel spoilt with your exclusive access. Or if you want a full relaxing experience, the spa pool is brilliant to spend some time away from the family along with our wooden sauna.

Our Leisure Centre has free guest Wi-Fi too, so if you fancy sitting in our upstairs seating area, you can keep yourself entertained or overlook the pool to watch your relatives having some holiday fun. Hot drinks are served all year round, simply enquire at reception about this. Or if you would rather sit in the pool hall, enjoy our comfortable seating, and relax with a book.

Maenporth Beach/Walks

Discover rugged cliffs, rolling green fields, wildflowers and hidden beaches nestled in against the rocks and creeks. There are miles of beautiful coastline to explore from Maenporth. Walking the coast path is a pleasure for any visitor and local alike.

From both directions on the beach, you’re never far from a new footpath to explore. Discover the variety of beaches across Falmouth where you can walk from Maenporth right up to Pendennis Headland where you can see St Mawes castle in the distance surrounded by Carrick Roads. If you head in the opposite direction, Rosemullion Head will provide you with countless coves between Maenporth, Mawnan and the Helford, all with picturesque views and many with winding creeks.

Falmouth

Falmouth is an exciting coastal town known for its maritime heritage. Home to the world’s third deepest natural harbour, our town thrives off many annual events from the Spring festival, Fal River festival, Falmouth International Sea Shanty festival, Falmouth Week, Oyster festival and Beer festival to name a few.

Falmouth Bay have been home to the Tall Ships regatta several times as a spectacle of historical maritime festivities. The diverse range of restaurants and cafes add to the creative forefront Falmouth offers, many of which are successful independent establishments, and of course, there is the obligatory pasty shop.

Grab a pasty when you visit and enjoy watching the boats in the bay whilst sat on the harbourside or Pier.
