As the seasons begin to turn and we look ahead to another beautiful year here on the Cornish coast, we wanted to say a big thank you to all our guests who stayed with us last year. About the Estate
Tucked away in a private corner of Falmouth, Maenporth Estate is a peaceful, 29-acre haven overlooking one of Cornwall’s most picturesque beaches. Originally developed in the early 1980s, the estate has grown into a much-loved holiday destination, offering a mix of coastal charm, thoughtful design, and home-from-home comfort. With beautifully maintained grounds and 90 privately owned properties, the estate has retained its warm, welcoming feel – perfect for families looking to unwind in nature without sacrificing comfort or convenience.
Facilities for Every Generation
We know that the best holidays offer a little something for everyone. At Maenporth, parents can relax and recharge, while the kids have endless opportunities for fun.
Our on-site leisure centre includes a lovely heated indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sauna – perfect for a dip after a coastal walk or a relaxing start to the day. For those who like to stay active, we offer tennis courts, pickleball courts, a basketball hoop, and football area.
Children can burn off some energy in our play area, have a game of pétanque or enjoy classic family games like table tennis and pool. And if you’re just after some peace and quiet, there are plenty of walking paths around the estate and down to the beach where the only soundtrack is the sound of the sea.
Local Adventures Await
Of course, one of the best parts of staying at Maenporth is that you’re just moments from the wider magic of Cornwall. Maenporth Beach is right on our doorstep – a gently sloping, sheltered bay ideal for sandcastle-building, paddleboarding, and safe swimming.
A short drive or scenic coastal walk brings you into the heart of Falmouth – a vibrant harbour town packed with family-friendly restaurants, quirky shops, and cultural gems like the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle. You can hop on a ferry across the Fal Estuary, visit the tropical gardens at Trebah or Glendurgan, or take a day trip to the Eden Project – all within easy reach.
For nature lovers, the Southwest Coast Path offers breathtaking walks, and for those seeking a bit more adrenaline, there’s kayaking, sailing, coasteering, and wildlife boat tours nearby.
